Sandra Rodriguez De Torres Garcia
My name is Sandra Rodríguez de Torres García and I am a clinical psychologist. I graduated in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid, obtaining during my training three scholarships for excellent academic achievement during the first three years of university. I did the specialty of clinical psychology at the Prince of Asturias University Hospital, where, for four years, I acquired extensive training working with various types of population (adults, children and adolescents) and pathology (anxiety, depression, eating disorders, disorders of personality, severe mental disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, hypochondria, substance use, rehabilitation psychosocial, etc.). Parallel to the specialty of clinical psychology, I specialized in family and systemic intervention, both in adults and in the child - adolescent population. I have attended numerous courses, conferences and training activities to update my training, which is constantly being reviewed.
At the same time, I have participated as a teacher in seminars for undergraduate students at the University of Alcalá de Henares and in master classes at the Complutense University of Madrid as a specialist in Conduct Disorders Food. In addition, I have collaborated in several research projects, publishing scientific posters and oral communications in congresses of recognized national and international prestige.
Currently, I work as a Medical Specialist in Clinical Psychology at the Hospital Clínico San Carlos from the Community of Madrid, while combining this work with the activity in the clinic private.
