The bride usually has an idea of ​​how she wants her dress to be, this being important to start looking for, but you should not rule out other possibilities of styles that can surprise you and look great with your type of body.

A first step that can guide or help us in choosing the dress is the type of body that we have, below we quote the most frequent, which take into account the proportion shoulders, waist and hip. Although we must bear in mind that they are indicative and we do not have to classify ourselves in a specific category, each person is different and therefore each body is different.

  • Hourglass: This shape is characterized by a similar shoulder-to-hip ratio and a narrower waist. That is, from top to bottom it will be wide, narrow and wide.

  • Rectangle: In this case we see how both shoulders, waist and hips show the same amplitude, almost forming a straight line.

  • Pear: On this occasion the widest area is that of the hips, it is the part of the silhouette that stands out the most in contrast to the breadth of the shoulders and the waist, which are narrower.

  • inverted triangle: This type of body is reminiscent of the inverted shape of a triangle, presenting the opposite propositions to the pear-type silhouette. In this case we will observe broader shoulders, more prominent with respect to the waist and hips.

  • oval or apple: This body model is similar to rectangular, that is, it shows a proportion of shoulders, waist, hips similar but in this case the hip does appear a little curved, it is not completely straight, hence the name of oval.

What kinds of wedding dress are there?

When a couple gets married it is a very beautiful moment for them, they are taking a very important step and they want to remember it as a special day. One of the important decisions or choices is how the bride will be dressed, what dress will be the ideal to capture all eyes when you walk down the aisle before reaching the altar and what will be the right one.

The mermaid or trumpet style dress is characterized by being tight fitting the silhouette of the bride. 3. A-line style

The A-line style wedding dress will be fitted to the waist, beginning to gradually open up, creating a triangular silhouette reminiscent of the shape of the letter A, hence its name. This type of dress is similar to the princess one, since it is fitted to the waist, but unlike the previous one, the increase in volume is not so exaggerated, increasing more gradually.

This style is one of the most chosen since it favors all body types, adapting well to different silhouettes and giving rise to an elegant figure.

The name empire style dress was established in reference to the first French empire, since the wife of the Emperor of France Napoleon Bonaparte made this type of dress fashionable in the 16th century.
