Psychologist Juan José Martínez (Almería)

I am Juan José Martínez, a general health psychologist with the collegiate number: AO-12158. I work with adult and adolescent patients online, that is, through videoconference (Skype, Zoom, etc). I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Almería (UAL) and a Master's degree in General Health Psychology from the National Distance Education University (UNED). As for my complementary training, I have a Master's Degree in Prevention and Treatment of Addictions from the University of Salamanca (USAL), in addition to different courses, workshops and diplomas in the field of Clinical Psychology and Of the health.

My usual way of working focuses on the application of Cognitive - Behavioral Therapy due to its empirical validity and excellent results. Through this approach I will help you solve: addictions with and without substances, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, sleep problems, phobias, low self-esteem, grief, etc.

As each person is unique, so is each therapy, and therefore the sessions we have will be personalized and adapted to your own needs. In addition, in each session different psychological tools will be applied to achieve emotional well-being, strengthen personal growth and achieve the goals you set for yourself.
