Psychologist María Jesús Suárez Duque (Neighborhood)
My work and vocation stem from the knowledge from a very young age of the needs, especially affective and relational, not covers that present a fairly high percentage of the population (children, adolescents, young people, adults and the elderly). Hence, in the first place I graduated as a Social Educator with a mention in attention to people at risk of social exclusion. Subsequently, I graduated in psychology in both the educational and clinical mention. Finally, I did the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology. Currently, I am studying the Degree in Criminology and collaborating with other neurologists, psychologists, sociologists, psychiatrists... with the purpose of learning and sharing our knowledge to be able to apply it in daily practice with the people who come to our consultations.
My specialty is children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. I work from a comprehensive approach given that although cognitive behavioral therapy is the one that has shown itself to be the most effective in some disorders, it has not shown efficacy in others such as personality disorders, addictions...
Among my skills I would highlight empathy, responsibility, involvement in my work and personal and professional growth, humanity, closeness, understanding, confidentiality
