My name is Lara. I am a General Health Psychologist specialized in Experiential Humanist Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I started my first steps in psychology graduating from the Complutense University of Madrid. Then I did a Master's degree in General Health Psychology from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas and specialized in Experiential Humanist Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy. My training branches out into different schools, such as the cognitive behavioral, systemic, psychodynamic and finally humanistic schools. I decided to specialize in the latter because I believe in a vision of the human being as unique, free and with the ability to grow, adapt and develop their potential. Another of my passions besides psychology is animals and the relationship we have with them, something that I hope to be able to incorporate into my professional work in the future. That is why I am completing my training with an expert degree in Animal Assisted Therapy.
