Psychologist Vanesa Moreno (Buenos Aires)
I have been working for years with the suffering of people, betting on improving their quality of life. It is often arduous and complex, but experience shows me that the patient's commitment and my commitment as a therapist provide a good foundation. From then on, detect which mechanisms sustain the discomfort and look for strategies to dismantle that balance (yes, because the discomfort, also achieves a balance that is installed and becomes daily) and an approach to the pleasurable sensations of life. My bet is on the subject and on the capacity for change.
I trained at the University of Buenos Aires, I worked in community institutions that care for people in vulnerable situations, which allowed me to direct treatment of people in subjective emergency and with deep needs as part of teams interdisciplinary. Currently, through a pandemic, I have turned to virtual care, which allows me to attend people from different parts of the world and it has been a great opportunity to enrich my role as therapist.
I specialize in clinical psychology, anxiety treatments, anguish, work problems, life crises.
