Aristotle and Aristotelian logic

This video explains who he was Aristotle and the basic ideas of his thinking. Aristotle is the son of the King of Macedonia's private physician, a member of the upper class. Aristotle is sent to Plato's academy. Just getting to the academy already stands out, eventually he will also be a teacher at the Academy.

Little by little the thought of Aristotle takes on its own entity, not being appointed director of the Academy he leaves and sets up his own AcademyHowever, he is required by the king to teach his son, Alexander the Great.

Years later, he set up the Liceo, one of the most important schools of that time. The philosophical engine will be to end the controversy between Heraclitus and Parmenides, this theory is about change. End this discussion with the Ways of being, there are different ways of being that are called Categories, divided into two large groups: Substance (the authentic being) and Accidents (characteristics of the substance).

The fundamental idea is that there two types of changes

The first is that the substance is affected and others where who is affected is an accident.

Inside of the field of logic We will establish the principle of non-contradiction. Aristotle affirms that nothing can be and not be to one aspect at the same time.

A little lower you will find exercises, with their solutions, to practice what you have learned in this video about Aristotelian logic, if you have any questions I will be happy to help you.
