What are human rights

Welcome to a Professor, in today's video we are going to analyze one of the fundamental concepts of today's societies that are within a democracy.

We cannot understand a democracy without considering the concept of human rights.

Human rights are therefore those rights that we have as Humans simply for him fact of existing. However, we have to consider that not all individual rights should be considered as human rights, since there are two types of rights:

- Citizenship rights, which are those rights that a state recognizes to its citizens, but does not recognize other individuals who are not citizens of that country.

- Human rights, universal rights, that is, they possess all human beings.
