Love is possibly one of the best feelings that human beings can experience. Finding a person who fills us up and who feels the same way about us is incredible.

But maintaining a relationship is not always easy, because many times we have to reach agreements with the person we love and give in to be well together. Sometimes we will have to sacrifice ourselves and other times our partner. The important thing is that there is a balance.

A short about love

The shorts are an entertaining way to learn new things and reflect on life. And in this article we present a short film that talks about a subject that affects us all and that is capable of making us travel great distances to be happy with that special person: it is love.

What is the short film about?

This cartoon short has a clear message. The story begins with an executive “piggy” who, like every morning, goes to the cafeteria to have his breakfast. He looks like a pig with regular habits, as he always eats eggs for breakfast (and not one... but hundreds). Just as you ask for another serving of this delicious food, a beautiful chicken walks through the door and sits down to order her morning coffee. The pig, neither short nor lazy, puts on his bow tie and prepares to conquer the pretty hen. It is just then that the waiter serves him his new double helping of eggs.

The hen is surprised and offended, and the pig surreptitiously throws the eggs out of the hen's sight. We must not forget that the eggs come from the hen... The pig, as he sees that the situation is compromised, takes a daisy from I don't know where, and gives it to the hen because he wants to win her over. The chicken falls exhausted at his feet and they end up dating. The next scene occurs in a movie theater, where both animals share a box of popcorn. Later, in another scene, he shares some corn, which is what the chicken eats. It seems that the pig is so in love that he makes any sacrifice for his beloved chicken. He stops eating eggs and replaces them with corn.

Make decisions to continue with the couple

The story progresses and they seem like a couple very much in love. However, the pig continually thinks about being able to enjoy those delicious eggs like when he was single. He evidently loves his chicken, but the fact is that fried eggs call him a lot.

The pig sees eggs in all the corners, in the Titanic movie that they are watching in the cinema and even in the body of his partner. He is obsessing because he has the need to eat eggs.

So one night he sneaks out and goes straight to the bar like an alcoholic, but instead of ordering a glass of Tennessee whiskey he orders several helpings of eggs. But when he is ready to eat the first one, his heart turns over, then he remembers his beloved. He doesn't know what to do… eat eggs or not eat eggs? That is the question. In the end, he decides not to eat, and goes straight home to see his great love..

A simile with infidelity

What this story tells is that love is not as beautiful as the movies paint it, but that there are situations in which it is time to decide. Do we give in to impulses or do we respect the person who loves us the most? The short reminds us that continuing with a couple is based on decisions, and one of them is whether or not to be unfaithful to the person who yearns for us.

Respect is important in relationships, and it is possibly the value that carries the most weight. When trust is lost due to lack of respect, it is difficult to get back on track and make the relationship work. Logically, there are liberal relationships in which the members of the couple sleep with other people, but always consensually, so respect is not lost.

People outside the relationship, just like eggs, are always there. But one makes the decision to stay with the couple and not hurt them. We are all promiscuous, but only those who decide to be are unfaithful. That being said, infidelities occur for various reasons, for example, due to communication problems, monotony or differences that may exist between the members of the couple. When someone is unfaithful, it is because they have decided to be, because they could have taken another path, perhaps leaving the relationship before sleeping with another person.
