Saci Pererê: the legend and its representation in Brazilian culture

Saci Day
The saci became so relevant in the folk culture of Brazil that in 2005 it was created on Dia do Saci in the state of São Paulo. To date, he is also commemorated in the capital of Espírito Santo and in some cities of Minera and Ceará.
The chosen day was October 31, a way of valuing the national culture, since the same date occurs or Halloween, a foreign festival that is espalhou pelo country.
