Psychologist Corina Elena Schvindlerman

I define myself as a curious, enthusiastic, creative person, with great communication skills and empathy. I have been practicing my clinical practice for more than 18 years, with an integrating vision of the human being and a vivid care vocation. I conceive the therapeutic process as a joint journey: it is the patient, who suffers and knows his pain, and the psychologist who offers coping tools to heal, jointly exploring the invisible inner resources (which we all have), to make them surface. As if it were a bird: it needs two wings to be able to fly.

The human being is very complex, so is suffering. For this reason I adapt to the needs and style of each person, attending to their particular way of experiencing the problem and taking into account the temporal globality: "investigate his past to understand his present and build his future".

I understand that the objective of a psychotherapy is to produce changes. And it is from subjective changes that our perception of reality changes. Epictetus already said it: people do not suffer because of what "happens" to us, but because of how we "interpret" what happens to us. Well then, changing us, changes the outside. In my opinion, that's what it's all about: reading, rereading, rewriting and reinventing oneself.
