Psychologist Seiji Arakaki Hirano

Clinical psychologist from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) and existential humanist psychotherapist from the Existential Humanist School of Peru: Existence and Person. He has been dedicated to the psychotherapeutic practice of children, adolescents and adults since 2016, and his work focuses on accompaniment in emotional and existential difficulties. He maintains a keen interest in artistic and creative processes. He is the author of the storybook "Leit Motiv" published in 2022.

My work focuses on the emotional and existential aspects of the person. Anxiety, depression, mourning processes as well as existential crisis, search for meaning, isolation and loneliness. I believe that psychotherapy helps people to find their own resources and answers to their emotional conflicts in order to live in a most satisfactory way, and my role as a psychologist-psychotherapist is to accompany and facilitate the process of change and transformation of the consultant.
