Psychologist Claudia Marcela Avendaño Ruiz

I am Marcela Avendaño, Clinical and Educational Psychologist, graduated from the Santo Tomas de Aquino University. I have over 25 years of experience in individual and couples therapy. Life has given me the opportunity to train in different countries (Spain, Peru, Mexico) and to have different professional experiences at the same time. As a mother of two children, I know the importance of having good parenting guidelines and letting ourselves be advised by a professional specialized in the subject. That is why apart from my clinical training, I have been trained in the educational part and I have extensive experience working with children and teenagers. Being able to have lived in different cultures gives me a broader and more professional vision of Clinical and Educational work. My extensive training gives me the ability to be a good professional with experience accredited by patients from different countries and more than 25 years in therapy. In the same way, one of my strengths is advising parents who, at some point in their important work of educators in love, they are scared or simply lost with sometimes difficult situations to drive. I advise, guide and offer practices to improve parent/child relationships and improve specific situations.

Psychologist with a Master's Degree in Clinical and Health Psychology, Specialist in Psychotherapy in children and adolescents, and with a Master's Degree in Neuropsychology, multiple intelligences, mindfulness in children and teenagers. In addition to this, I have a Postgraduate in Bullying: School Bullying and Cyberbullying and extensive experience working with children and adolescents Throughout my career As a professional, I have been able to carry out several investigations on parenting guidelines, advising more than 100 parents in this complex but exciting job of be parents I have worked in the clinical setting during my professional career, with more than 25 years of experience in individual therapy with adults, children and adolescents, and couples therapy.
