Psychologist David Lopez Gomez

I introduce myself as a psychiatrist and director of the private mental health center MenteAmente. I am a specialist in psychiatry trained at Hospital La Paz in Madrid. I approach people's problems from a very human, close and empathetic perspective. I carry out detailed studies of the problems and symptoms of the people who come to my office in order to offer individualized treatment. Within the therapeutic options I have the possibility of prescribing medication and performing psychotherapeutic treatments. In any case, the treatment plan is agreed upon with the patient, respecting her preferences and informing in detail what the possible options are.

I am a psychiatrist with extensive experience handling all the psychoactive drugs marketed in our country, and I am also a psychotherapist. I have completed two graduate courses in psychotherapy and another two in adult ADHD.

I am specialized in the treatment of adults. The problems that we most commonly treat are anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, insomnia and addictions. For minors, I have a team of child psychiatrist, child clinical psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist.
