Psychologist Nancy Sierra Paz
Hello! My name is Nancy Sierra. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. I really enjoy being able to accompany the kids in their individual processes and being able to advise their parents. I am also certified to identify and work with patients at risk for suicide. In my experience, being able to provide empathetic listening and support is the key. Last but not least, I am a specialist in Learning Disabilities and Neurodiversity. My goal is to be able to guide these children and their families so that they can develop their potential and independence. My goal in consulting is always to be able to provide a safe space for my clients.
Among my competencies and skills are: -Ethics. -Consistency -Critical thinking. -Trust. -Empathic listening. -Assertive communication. -Flexibility -Emotional intelligence
For me, the most beautiful thing is to continue learning from each case. Each one is different and special. The reason I trained in suicide risk is because I have understood the importance of validating what the person is feeling and experiencing. Parallel to attending in clinic, I was also working with neurodiverse children and with mental difficulties. learning in a college and I felt it was my calling too, so I decided to take a second master's degree in the issue. Teaching with patience, with love and understanding the individuality of the types of learning gives enriching results.
