What are the stock markets and the stock market
In this video I am going to talk about stock markets and the stock market, one of the fundamental issues to understand the economic situation and current capitalism.
First, to understand this topic, we have to talk about the financial market and financial products. There are financial investments of fixed income and fixed investments of variable income (the stock market).
The bag: Shares are bought and sold. The actions they are parts of the companies, corporations, all are equal and have the same value. They are bought and sold on the stock market. The price of the shares is set by supply and demand.
Within the securities markets, there are two markets:
- Primary or issuance market: the company puts shares up for sale or carries out a capital increase. The company receives the fees from the sales of the shares.
- Secondary market: Those who buy and sell shares are the shareholders and not the company itself.
