The book thief (in Portuguese from Brazil A menina que roubava livros e em Português de Portugal A rapariga que roubava livros) was launched in 2005.
This is an international literary best seller written by Markus Zusak that was adapted for the cinema in 2013.
Summary and analysis of the work
A story told by Zusak was a narrator as much as peculiar: a Morte. To her unique task of hers, she collects the souls that she dies and gives them to this rolling stone for eternity.
O livro commeça exactly as a presentation of Death, which pede so that the reader does not have half of the:
He could introduce me appropriately, but, na verdade, isso não é necessary. You will conhend me enough and be depressa, depending on a diversified range of varieties. Suffice it to say that, at some point of time, I will rise above you, with all possible cordiality. Your soul will be in my arms. There will be a cor pousada on my shoulder. E levarei você embora gently. Nesse moment, you will be deited. (Rarely do you find pee people.) It will be solidified in your body.
A Morte observes or tragic destiny dos homens and narrates of um jeito meio cínico, porém bem humorado, how it works or Your day-to-day, your daily tasks, the difficulties of the job of carrying human beings to this plane.
In writing, she runs high on highs, I said that she is wounded by a menina because she is affected by it, and I have escaped three different times. Liesel is recorded forever in his memory of her:
I saw three times a menina that roubava livros.
It is on which attention and narrative exercise is debruça. A Morte goes to accompany the garota costume, who is always in the company of a free and escort to accompany her serious passes between 1939 and 1943.
A history goes back to the year of 1939, in the middle of World War II. O cenário in questão é a Nazi Germany, which received rigorous bombings and more and more frequent in its cities.
It is in Moiching, a small town from Munich, where Liesel Meminger lives, an assiduous reader, in a company from her additive countries.
O past Liesel is tragic: filha de uma mãe supposedly communist, who was persecuted by Nazism, a menina For ten years, she lived together as Irmão Caçula, in the house of a family that she loved to adore in the Dinheiro truck.
O irmão de la ella, Werner, not so much, with barely six years old, I died I did not put on my, during or brought rumo to Munique. It was January 1939:
There were two guards.
Havia uma mãe com sua filha.
A corpse.
To me, to menina and or corpse will continue stubborn and openwork.
O irmão caçula de Liesel, which will die not for Munique, and risen pela Morte e a menina fica like olhos cheios of crystallized tears. This is the first time that Morte crosses as a garota.
Due to the failure of the irmão, Liesel ends up by ficar sozinha with a family than with acolhe. O pai adotivo, Hans Hubermann, is a wall painter who teaches him to read, in contrast to more adotiva (Rosa Hubermann).
He knows that a girl is literate by quickly earning or wanting to read. Before meeting the Hubermann family, Liesel had rarely attended school.
Hans tinha or the habit of telling stories to distract people, a rotina who will be hurt pela menina.
Liesel also conquers a great friend in life nova, or vizinho Rudy Steiner, who will be with him long after a difficult journey.
A family adotiva da menina acolhe Max Vanderburg, a persecuted Jew who goes to live in the cave of the house and who provides free crafts. Hans tries to help a second Jew, but he is uncovered and raised for the army.
The second time that Liesel escaped from the fim foi when she saw Morte look for a twenty-four-year-old homem, who was in a demolished plane. Assim that the aircraft fell, um garoto saw to verify that the pilot was alive - and he was. A second person to appear at dinner was Liesel. Logo to follow, or pilot faleceu.
In the face of the historical desse of disturbed life, Garota takes refuge in the world of books, which escapes from burned libraries ou da casa do prefeito da cidadezinha em that she lives (as a help da wife do prefeito, who becomes a friend, senhora Hermann).
While he is serving the war, Hans plays accordion to distract himself and Liesel takes the place of the adjective art of storytelling.
Apostle or return of soldier Hans home, a tragic event mutes the rumors of the vizinhança. A rua Himmel, where everyone lived, was bombarded and completely destroyed, causing to death two six additive countries and his great friend Rudy.
This is the third and last time that Morte crosses with Liesel:
Na last time I saw, I was vermelho. Or it seemed like a soup, bubbling and wagging. Burned in some places. Havia migalhas pretas e pimenta riscando a vermelhidão. (...) Depois, bombs.
Again, I was too late.
So sirens. You malucos screams do not radiate. You were very late.
In minutes, concrete mounds and terrains overlap and empilharam. So the roads were very broken. O sangue escorreu até dry no chão e os corpses ficaram prisoners ali, feito Madeira boiando depois da enxurrada.
Estavam strained not chão, tied or last of them. Um pacote of souls.
To everyone's surprise, the bombeiros found a man, now five years old, alive among the rubble.
In Morte he found ajoelhada, em meio to a mountain of papers and writings, words erected in his volta. Liesel was clinging to a light and only managed to escape the tragedy because she was not going to creep.
Or I let Liesel come out of it - her daily pessoal - was collected, as well as the other remains, and placed on a lixo truck.
I am delighted to see the costume incomum da menina, to Morte over the caçamba and recolhe or exemplar that will go there several times a year or two years. It is about an exciting story of how that child had survived all the dark events.
