But he not only appears in this series but is also named in ancient books such as Theurgia-Goetia and in the Book of Enoch or Book of Enoch, which is considered a book intertestamental (writing that arises between the old and new testaments) which is only recognized as part of the orthodox biblical canon and not as part of the Bible Christian.
The name of Amenadiel in the holy books
According to many religious studies and expert theologians, they consider that Amenadiel is one of the Cherubim of God, who are in charge of praising him and reminding humanity of divine glory. But after Lucifer rebelled against him and was expelled along with other angels, it is believed that among them was Amenadiel, for which he is considered a fallen angel.

There is a version that states that Amenadiel may not be the real name of this angel or it may also be a misinterpretation or bad transcription of his real name. Another theory based on an ancient magic book called 'Steganographia' written by Johannes Trithemius. The origin of the fallen angels

In DC Comics strips based on Neil Gaiman's "The Sandman" comics, Amenadiel appears as a violent, vengeful and authoritarian angel from the Celestial Kingdom. Amenadiel on the big screen
Linking with the previous theme, the Neil Gaiman comic series for DC Comics hits the screens television series Lucifer (currently airing through Netflix) and which is created by Tom Kapinos.
It tells the story of Lucifer who, after being expelled from heaven, is sent to rule hell along with the angels who were his accomplices during the rebellion against Heavenly Father, receiving the name of Satan and proclaimed as the prince of darkness.
