1. Aigüestortes National Park and San Mauricio Lake (Lleida)

One of the most beautiful landscapes in Spain could not be other than one of the 14 national parks that dot the peninsula. In the heart of the Pyrenees, this set of peaks and high mountain lakes offers us one of the most beautiful mountain panoramas in the country.

With peaks of more than 3,000 meters and more than 200 ponds, the park is home to a wide variety of plant and animal species. This privileged enclave is ideal for routes between rivers and waterfalls, as well as to marvel at the views it offers.

2. Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park (Huesca)

Another of our Pyrenean national parks is on the list of the most beautiful landscapes in Spain. Declared in 1918, this is the second oldest national park in the country and one of the best preserved.

Above all stands out what is the highest limestone massif in Europe, the Tres Sorores. Its highest peak is Monte Perdido, from which they spring impressive glacial valleys and ravines They attract thousands of visitors each year.

3. The Lagunas de la Mata and Torrevieja (Alicante)

And we move on to another of the most curious places that the peninsula offers. This natural park located in the Valencian Community stands out for its two main lagoons that occupy 1,400 and 700 hectares each. The largest, the Torrevieja Lagoon, is known as the Pink Lagoon for the surprising pink color of its waters.

The lake owes this striking color to the bacteria that inhabit its waters, which in contact with the sun transform and acquire pink, mauve or fuchsia tones. It is especially spectacular during sunsets in the summer months, undoubtedly becoming one of the most beautiful landscapes in Spain.

4. Las Médulas (Leon)

Another of the most beautiful landscapes in the country is made up of contrasts of this incredible place, in which small mounds of reddish rock stand out among lush vegetation. What once served as a gold mine for the Romans was declared a World Heritage Site in 1997.

The picture that presents if they are contemplated from the Mirador de Orellán, especially at sunset, is one of the images that will undoubtedly leave a mark on the visitor.

5. Lakes of Covadonga (Asturias)

The Covadonga Mountain complex is part of the Picos de Europa National Park, the first to be declared a protected natural area. The lake area is at one of its highest points, and its exceptional landscape and vegetation they form one of the most beautiful landscapes in Spain.

6. El Torcal de Antequera (Malaga)

We already knew that Andalusia has a special color, but few know one of the most curious places that its geography hides. El Torcal de Antequera is a karst relief with very curious rock formations.

The strange landscape it offers is one of the most spectacular in Spain, and so extraordinary that in 1929 it was declared a site of national interest and in 2016 it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

7. Tajo de Ronda (Malaga)

This impressive gorge could well be one of the settings for J.J.R. Tolkien, creator of The Lord of the Rings. But the truth is that it is a real place and is dividing the town of Ronda, in the province of Malaga.

8. Anaga Mountains (Tenerife)

To the north of the island of Tenerife is the Anaga peninsula, a stretch of land that gives the back to the sea and works as a barrier to protect the green mountains that hide behind its hillside. There is a unique natural space that contrasts with the beaches so characteristic of the island.

9. Bardenas Reales (Navarra)

And we passed from exotic greens from the Canarian archipelago to the desert landscape of southern Navarra, another community of contrasts. All the green landscape that characterizes this territory disappears completely when you arrive at the natural park de las Bárdenas, since the landscape offered by this area is more typical of a western than of the region that welcomes it.

10. Las Catedrales Beach (Lugo)

Another of the most beautiful landscapes in Spain that could not be missed in a top 10 is this Galician enclave that leaves no one indifferent. On the coast of Lugo is the emblematic Augas Santas Beach, known as Playa de las Catedrales for its spectacular rock formations.
