Zara opens its first store specializing in online shopping in London
From tomorrow, Zara will open a new store in the city of London that stands out for being unique in the whole world. Inditex's flagship has decided to open an establishment only specialized in making and collecting ‘online’ purchases and process returns. This will be a temporary store, —they are known as' pop up stores'— which will also have great technological innovations, for example, tablets distributed throughout the premises, dataphones with ‘bluetooth’ or screen-mirrors.
This unique Zara store will be located in the Westfield London Shopping Center in Stratford and will remain open until reopening in May of the 'flagship' in this same center, which will double its surface to 4,500 square meters and will feature, among other advances, robots, a specific 'online' section and self-checkout boxes.
What we all expected in stores
But in addition, this store has one of the most surprising advances, a styling suggestion system which will be offered to all customers through the informative display mirrors. Its use will be very easy: once the desired items have been identified, various real-size items will be displayed
coordination and combination possibilities with other clothes and accessories. The president of the Inditex textile group, Pablo Isla, has underlined the relevance of these two new Zara concepts that represent "one more step" in the strategy integration of the group's stores with the online world, which constitutes a hallmark of the company.
Pioneer in the world
This Friday will open this store where shopping 'online' will be the protagonist. But the thing is not here, because days later, specifically the following Monday, already the expansion and reform works will begin of the Zara store in this London shopping center, which is scheduled to open in May.
It will be the first in the world to incorporate four sections, since a specific 'online' will be added to the traditional ones for women, men and children, in line with the company's digital integration policy. The new store will also have an automated order collection point 'online' where you can pick up orders without schedules.
«All the technical efforts of the store will be put at the service of achieving a unique shopping experience, where the technological advances allow the latest trends to be given even greater prominence fashionable ”, they have underlined from the Inditex group.
