The effect of a good career choice on young people
The interest in writing this article on vocational guidance to choose a career arose when I saw in my consultations how some young people who had already concluded a profession developed problems of anxiety, fear, insecurity, and feelings of not being able to achieve job success because they realized that the chosen profession was not the one they like or fit with their concerns.
In this sense, it is important for younger students to feel self-realization also through their choice of career, since they are in a formative stage of their personal development.
Here we will review several key ideas that can be used by those in a situation where they are already graduated from a profession or vocation and have discovered that it was not the choice that they are passionate about, and young people who are in the period of their school lives in which it is good to be making a decision about the career that they want to study.

From what age does vocational guidance start?
The earlier it is, the better its effects on adolescent formation.. But, in addition, it must be clear that the process of discovering a vocation is not something that is carried out only individually, but is a phenomenon based on social interactions.
Thus, within the course "How to develop your professional identity through self-knowledge" that I have taught for several years, there were groups of high school and high school freshmen who, by the end of the course, were able to notice how they were better able to discover and reaffirm talents, interests and motivations; they more clearly expressed their personal arguments as to why they wanted such a profession.
In addition, in the meetings of the workshop with parents and students, it was noticeable great enthusiasm for sharing this information with the family. By letting others know what kind of vocation you were most inclined to develop, you developed a great sense of accomplishment.
The students who participated in this workshop when they were in their first or second year of high school showed satisfaction in finding their job placement in their future plans. They experienced better confidence and security in their talents and challenges presented by their first work experience.
