Interpretation of history

This story, as well as all other fairy tales, has many strong elements that can be interpreted in a symbolic way in order to illustrate some human behaviors and experiences.

No case of João e o pé de feijão, or what we see is a narrative that fails about a independence and importance of separating from the mother's side in some moment it gives life.

A mother of João, who can also be represented by the cow that does not give more milk, deixou of "feeding" her son does not make psychological sense.

Assim, it is important that the boy looks new experiences, new worlds and riches. Just like that, making a trip to the unknown, it is possible to "cut the umbilical cord" with his mother and become an adult.

By isso, or pé de feijão, acquired in history by the intuition of the garoto, symbolizes the connection with a search in its own unconscious.

The giant represents a side of his own cat that he needs to overcome: vaidade e a arrogância.

To face these challenges, or what remains of the riches, you know, knowingly, that the little boy acquired, making his happiness possible.
