Light phase of photosynthesis: anabolism

In this video I will explain the light phase of photosynthesis.

The light phase of photosynthesis, depends directly on the light or light energy to be able to obtain chemical energy in the form of ATP and NADPH, from the dissociation of water molecules, forming oxygen and hydrogen.

Pigments are involved, the best known; chlorophyll, which is what gives plants green color.

The energy created in this phase will be used during the dark phase, in order to continue with photosynthesis. This process is carried out in the conveyor chain of e- del chloroplast, in the chlorophyll-protein complexes that are grouped into units called photosystems that are in the thylakoids (internal membranes) of chloroplasts.

In the video you will be able to understand better the light phase of photosynthesis. In addition, if you are not sure you can continue practicing with problems of this type you can do the printable exercises with their solutions that I have left you on the web. Good luck in your studies!
