Psychologist Psychologist Camilo Henríquez (Santiago)
[email protected]! I have been a clinical psychologist for 10 years and have worked with more than 800 people throughout my professional career. My mission is to help people solve their mental health problems and facilitate the construction of a dignified life. I currently live in Denmark and work mainly online internationally (in English and Spanish), and I am also dedicated to social research in relation to the use of technologies to complement the psychotherapy. My therapeutic approach is mainly cognitive, integrating elements from other therapeutic models such as logotherapy, third generation behaviorism, and psychodynamics. Write me without obligation to know more about me or start a psychotherapy.
My clients often recognize my passion and sincere interest in their well-being. In my work, the most important thing is people, and my motivation is to bring well-being to live a decent life. Consequently, it is expected that you will see me giving 110% of myself, and perceive me as an altruistic and patient person during our work together. I am a very sensitive and committed person, so working with me you will discover my human side (I'm not perfect), and you will see in action the knowledge I have learned to face suffering human.
When I started practicing my profession, I worked very closely with problems of domestic violence, abusive dynamics, and social vulnerability associated with poverty and drug use. The high complexity of the problems made my first experience as a psychologist very challenging, but it also helped me develop my skills by leaps and bounds. Currently, my main line of work in third generation cognitive-behavioral, which consists of identifying problematic beliefs, behaviors, and habits, and design metacognitive models to modify them or learn to live with they. I firmly believe in change and human improvement, and my work focuses on facilitating this process. of change in people through methods adapted to the personality of each of my customers.
