Psychologist Consuelo Carvacho Köstner

Clinical Psychologist, Psychoanalytic Orientation.

Hello! Are you going through a difficult time? Do you need to talk about your difficulties with someone? I am Consuelo Carvacho, Psychologist, graduated from the Diego Portales University. In my 10 years of experience I have worked mainly in two areas; in the educational field, supporting students, parents, administrators and teachers, and in the clinical area, doing psychotherapy as an intern at Fundación Templanza and working in centers and in my practice private. Currently, I work at the Lazos & Nexos Psychological Center and in my private practice where I attend to pre-adolescents, adolescents, adults and couples in person and online. In both places I receive all the people who need help with issues related to the resolution and prevention of emotional, behavioral or mental health problems. I dedicate myself to serving all those who are going through a bad time, have not found themselves for a long time, they want a trusted space to talk or simply want to work on the growth of any personal area.

My listening and attention is developed from the psychoanalytic perspective. I base myself on trust, active listening and elaboration-re-elaboration of the conflicts and problems that afflict. I work through the word to access the root of the conflict, with the aim that the person discovers her knowledge and builds her own place and meaning of life. With me you will find a space of respect, trust, listening, ethics and professionalism. In that space, they can talk about their symptoms, conflicts or difficulties. In addition, they could connect with their own, to build something new and that generates less suffering and pain.

I have my equivalent title of Psychologist in Spain, since I lived almost 3 years in Barcelona, Spain. In addition, I am constantly studying psychoanalysis with different courses and seminars given in Spain, Argentina and Chile. I also have a Diploma in Psychoanalytic Psychopathology from the Chilean Institute of Psychoanalysis (ICHPA).
