The metaphysical meditations of Descartes
In this video I will talk about the metaphysical meditations of Descartes.
The Descartes' metaphysical meditations, they are considered his central thought. Descartes speaks of the ME, as personal experience.
I have accepted as true what is false, cawareness of error.
That is why there is a methodical doubt. The first thing I doubt is the sensitivity due to the senses that have deceived me before, and because it is very difficult to distinguish between sleep and wakefulness.
Of the Mathematics it can also be doubted, although it is much more reliable than sensitivity. But there may be a Evil Genius fool us.
Cogito ergo sum: I think therefore I exist. I know of my existence because I think.
Therefore, I exist, and the being that has created me, therefore, God exists, and God does not deceive us because he is perfect. As God does not deceive, the doubted (error theory) is recovered and mathematics and sensitivity is conceived as true.
