Learn to multiply by a number

The multiplication is one of the basic operations of the Math and is taught in the first cycle of Primary education, after having learned addition and subtraction. In order to learn to multiply You have to have the addition very well internalized since multiplying tries to add a number as many times as the other number indicates. For example, if we want to multiply 3 x 4 it will be the same as adding 3 four times or adding 4 three times.

In this video I will show you multiply by a number. We will start with simple multiplications and later in other videos we will introduce more difficult multiplications. Remember that to multiply well it is essential to know by heart all the multiplication tables explained in the previous videos. First we will practice multiplication of a number of 1 digit for another also 1 figure as they are in the multiplication tables. Then we will multiply a number of 2 digits multiplied by another 1 digit.
