Sums of different figures
We continue learning to add! This operation is getting a little more complicated... Until this video I have taught children simple sums without carrying one, two and three figures. They have also learned sums carrying. But I have always done sums of two addends with the same number of digits.
In the next video I will teach how to do sums of different figures, that is, each of the addends will have a different number of digits. They may add a two-digit number to a three-digit number and a one-digit number. Also, I will teach place the addends correctly to perform the addition vertically. The most important thing to do these sums is to put the numbers right (units under units, tens under tens, hundreds under hundreds, ...).
Also, thanks to printable exercises and solutions that you will find on the web, your children will practice these sums of different figures easily and even correct their mistakes themselves.
Adding is not easy but thanks to unprofesor.com it will be much more entertaining. Children can practice everything they learn at school through our website and if they have questions they can ask the teacher directly. They will also be able to search the web for what they have not understood in class to receive a different explanation which they will be able to see and hear as many times as they need. Remember that each child has a different rate of learning. Let them go up to speed and build their way!
