Rounding decimal numbers
In this video I will explain how to do the rounding decimal numbers. Rounding a number is making this number have fewer digits without changing the value of the number significantly. This is done to use numbers that are simpler and easier to use, remember and communicate. It's easier to say that my exam grade was 9 and not 8.9543. In conclusion, rounding is something we use on a daily basis to make our lives easier.
There are different types of rounding with decimal numbers:
- Rounding to unity
- Rounding to the tenth
- Round to the hundredth
