How to go from degrees to radians
In this video I will explain how to go from degrees to radians.
One of the most typical and well-known units, they are Grades. But it is not the only or the most recommended. The other unit that we will explain are radians. Radians are less familiar but more desirable.
Radian is the unit of plane angle in the International System of Units. Represents the central angle in a circle and encompasses an arc whose length is equal to the radius. Its symbol is rad.
Its advantage is that it is a unit system that has no dimensions. It is a magnitude dimensionless.
In the video we will see the equivalences and how to go from one unit to the other.
For example: 2pi = 360º = one full turn.
From here we can make a rule of three to pass any figure of degrees, to radians.
In the video we will make some examples of how to go from degrees to radians. Also, if you are not sure you can continue practicing with problems of this type by doing the printable exercises with their solutions that I have left you on the web. Good luck in your studies!
