He abstract expressionism is an artistic movement that arose at the beginning of the 20th century and constituted a movement within the abstract trend that swept through the world of art after World War II. A movement whose objective was to express emotions and subjective experiences through painting, although, and unlike other forms of abstraction focused on the representation of geometric forms or the elimination of the human figure, abstract expressionism focused above all on the emotional and gestural expression of the artist.
