Phrases with him and him

It is Spanish, the orthographic accent (´) differentiates meanings (I finish - I finish - I finish) therefore it is essential to know how to position it correctly. In this article we will see that does not mean the same "he" as "he" nor are they used in the same way. For this reason, it is essential to know when to use "the", which is the definite article, and when "he", a third person singular pronoun. Next, in this lesson from a Teacher we bring you a series of phrases with "he" and "he" so that you practice yourself and be able to differentiate them and know how and when to use each of these words. Cheer up!

"The", since it is an article, precedes a noun with which it agrees in gender and number: The most blond boy or the little book are two examples. However, "he", being a personal pronoun, does not accompany any noun but rather substitutes for it.

In the sentence Fernando says that he has not broken the glass, the pronoun "he" is equivalent to Fernando himself in order to avoid the redundancy that he would suppose to repeat twice the proper name in the same sentence or the possible resulting ambiguity if the issuer refers to another person with the same Name,

Fernando says that Fernando (can be himself or someone else) has not broken the glass.

In this way, the difference is established between the article "the", which does not have an accent and determines the noun, in front of "he", a graphically accented pronoun that substitutes for the noun in question.

In this other video of a teacher we talk about the monosyllable accentuation, as is the case of "he" and, also, we offer you a lesson on the diacritical accent.
