Primark announces the recall of thousands of cushions in all its stores due to fire risk

Primark has once again been involved in controversy after announcing the withdrawal of thousands of units of its products around the world. In the same way that happened when it was announced that the firm would withdraw its flip-flops from the market because they could be carcinogenic, now the alarms have gone off by some decorative cushions.

International media have echoed Primark's decision with up to thirteen different types of home cushions of four models. The fashion chain has asked all its customers to return these designs as they pose a great danger, as there is a high fire risk.

The 4 potentially flammable models

Apparently, the materials with which these models of cushions have been made are marked as dangerous, and are even potentially flammable, so its immediate return at any Primark store, without the need to present the ticket purchase to receive the relevant refund.

According to the English newspaper ‘The Sun’, one of the cushions with fire risk would be one in the shape of unicorn, another of the flammable models is made of sequins and even in the shape of a heart and very soft fabric to the touch.
