Queen Letizia debuts a blue velvet Felipe Varela for Military Easter

On January 6, the Military Easter was celebrated, an act in which the queen Letizia is always the protagonist for her outfits. For 11 years, Letizia has been wearing different outfits and very sober dresses and following the Royal House protocol for this type of act, but nevertheless, most of the time, repeated locker room. Even in following years you could see the current queen dressed exactly the same.

But this 2018 has been different, and despite the fact that she has also opted for her head designer Felipe Varela, Queen Letizia she turned heads in a premiere dress. The monarch may have decided to end the tradition of recycling as it is an Easter Military somewhat different, as it was part of the tribute to King Emeritus Juan Carlos for his 80 anniversary.

Letizia's ‘blue velvet’

Felipe Varela has been in charge of signing the design that the queen has dressed in her first official act of this 2018. It is a long shirt-cut dress with a belt, buttoned neckline and puffed sleeves that stands out, above all, for being made of dark blue velvet fabric.
