Sara Oneca De Miguel
I am Sara Oneca, a psychologist graduated from the National Distance University (UNED). I took a master's degree in general health psychology at the distance university (UNIR). I did a specialized postgraduate degree in addiction treatment (postgraduate in drug addiction) and I am currently finishing my master's degree in Neuropsychology. I started working with the child and youth population and young adults. Subsequently, I have been specializing in different fields that are difficult to handle from different approaches such as cognitive-behavioral, third generation therapies and Neuropsychology. My work is always based on personalized attention, I analyze each problem always looking for the best solution, because each person is unique and no two are alike. It could be said that in consultation I maintain the same philosophy that the great Oliver Sacks taught us, the which was reflected in his words: “there is only one golden rule, one must always listen to the patient". That's exactly my job: person-centered care.

One of the specialties that I dedicate myself to is rare diseases with the difficulty that this entails, setting the rhythms of therapy together with the patient. I always seek the optimization of resources, enhancing its capabilities as much as possible under continuous supervision and dedication to each particular case.
