Lysosomes, peroxisomes, plasts, and vacuoles

In this video I will explain what are lysosomes, peroxisomes, plastos and vacuoles.

LYSOSOMES:

  • Vesicle (1 membrane)
  • Cell digestion (internal and external): Hydrolases + proteases. Acid pH
  • Animal cells
  • Primary - Secondary

PEROXISOMES

  • Vesicle (1 membrane)
  • Cell detoxification: oxidases + catalases Important lipid metabolism

PLASTS

  • Multi-membrane, large
  • Plants and algae
  • Produce and store compounds: Photosynthesis (AÁ, Lipids) / Pigments
  • Example: Chloroplasts

COWS

  • Similar origin lysosomes. Variable shape
  • They contain water, enzymes, solids.
  • Fusion

In the video you will be able to understand better what are lysosomes, peroxisomes, plastos and vacuoles. In addition, if you are not sure you can continue practicing with problems of this type you can do the printable exercises with their solutions that I have left you on the web. We hope you learn a lot from these classes!
