Mendel's pea genetics problems

In this genetics video I will explain how to solve Mendel's pea exercises, some exercises that will help us understand Mendel's laws. The monk Gregorio Mendel spent much of his life crossing peas to see how the color and skin of the peas were transmitted.

Mendel discovered that for the pea to be yellow he needed to have information on the dominant allele, when there are two recessive alleles green pea is shown. Very often in Mendel's peas make us work with both characteristics, the way to solve these exercises is to be clear that the same individual presents alleles for the two characteristics but the two alleles do not mix with each other.

Also in the video I explain how to transform the Punnet table to% out of 100 individuals, for example, with which you will be able to get the% of how many individuals will have each of the phenotypes.

You can also find a little below printable exercises with their solutions and you can ask me what you want and I will gladly help you. Good study!
