What is quantum speciation
In this BIOLOGY video we will explain "What is quantum speciation".
Quantum speciation is a very little known form of speciation. Is named quantum speciation (also called saltational speciation or instantaneous speciation). It has to do with the fact that, from one or two species, a single species is generated in a single generation that cannot be crossed again with the original species that created it. This is something quite surprising since, we are talking about an evolutionary leap in a matter of a single generation. This is not just nonsense since it is contrary to the majority perception that evolution occurs in small steps, gradually (sometimes there are big leaps). How does this phenomenon happen? Basically due to a genetic mutation that affects the entire set of chromosomes.
