Is the existence of the megalodon, the largest shark of all time true?
Living legends are sometimes confused with reality and not only lead to great confusion, but can end up creating parallel realities that are ghostly and, as in this case, even terrifying.
In this case, the force of history is such, and the oceans such a mysterious world, that everything seemed to conspire to revive an animal that disappeared a whopping 2.6 million years ago: the megalodon. In a PROFESSOR we are going to banish the myth about existence of megalodon today.
A whale-eating monster.
Contrary to what science says, the social imaginary went ahead with a very different version. There's a lot people who claim that the megalodon, the largest shark that ever lived, it still remains and, in fact, the testimonies of people who claim to have seen it are missing. What's more, it is even attributed the remains of other sharks or whales found on the coast.
There are many television programs and documentaries that wonder about the possible existence of this spectacular animal, of
almost 20 meters in length and 50 tons of weight. However, science is clear: it is a legend. At least, this is what a new study from the University of Florida (USA) affirms when it concludes that the scientific evidence offers no doubts.
Currently there is NO megalodon, according to science.
The existence of the megalodon, therefore, it is a false myth. Plain and simple, it is impossible for megalodon to hide at the bottom of the oceans because the animal is extinct.
To discredit the idea that the megalodon still exists, its extinction has been proven by combining information from the bases of data and scientific publications of the most recent megalodon records with a new mathematical model from the University of Zurich.
The megalodon is the largest shark that has ever existed, a voracious shark, truly gigantic that fed on whales since the middle Miocene, spreading terror in the oceans around 16 million years ago.
