Enzymes, sequences and proteins involved in transcription

In this video I will explain the enzymes, sequences and proteins of transcription.

Transcription is the passage from DNA to RNA.

1. INITIATION

RNA polymerase recognizes promoter centers. Then it opens the double helix so that the ribonucleotides are attached to the template strand.

2. ELONGATION

RNA-polymesar proceeds in the 3'-5 'sense and synthesizes the RNA in the 5'-3' sense.

3. TERMINATION

RNA polymerase recognizes termination signals in DNA that indicate the end of transcription. In prokaryotes they are palindromic sequences.

In eukaryotes: Poly-A tail, Poly-A polymerase, cut point, Cut signal.

In the video you will be able to understand better the enzymes, sequences and proteins of transcription.. In addition, if you are not sure you can continue practicing with problems of this type you can do the printable exercises with their solutions that I have left you on the web. Good luck in your studies!
