Trick to do divisions faster
In this video I will show you a trick to solve divisions faster and in a simple way, regardless of whether they are divisions of one figure or several.
The trick to solve divisions It consists of writing on one side of the page the number of the divisor and multiplying it by all the numbers in your multiplication table (from 0 to 9). Thus, when we do the division we will no longer have to think about which number is the one that is closest to the dividend since we will have all the multiplications previously carried out. You will understand this trick better with the examples in the video.
In mathematics, division is the opposite operation of multiplication and it is partially defined in the set of natural numbers and integers. On the other hand, in the case of rational, real and complex numbers it is always possible to carry out the division, provided that it is requiring that the divisor be nonzero, whatever the nature of the numbers to be divide.
In the case that it is possible to carry out the division, this consists of inquiring how many times a number (divisor) "is contained" or "fits" in another number (dividend). The result of a division is called a quotient and if any quantity is left over, it will be known as a remainder. For example, in this example image of a single digit division, we see that the number 6 (divisor) "fits" or "is content "twice (the 2 is the quotient number) within 12 (dividend), leaving a remainder of 0, so it is a division exact:
Exact division must be distinguished from division with remainder or remainder. Unlike addition, subtraction, or multiplication, division between whole numbers is not always defined; in effect: 4 divided by 2 is equal to 2 (a whole number), but 2 by 4 is equal to 1/2 (a half), which is no longer a whole number. The formal definition of division, divisibility, and commensurability will then depend on the definition set.
