Learn the multiplication table of 6
We continue with the multiplication tables, one of the most important concepts of Math of the first and second cycle of the Primary education.
In this video I explain the 6 table. To learn it in order you will have to notice that you have to add 6 every time you change the number in the table. In this way, 6 x 0 = 0.6 x 1 = 6, 6 x 2 = 12, 6 x 3 = 18, etc... But in addition, there is a little trick that will help you memorize the even numbers in this table. I'll explain it to you: to multiply the even numbers in the 6 table We will have to note that the result will give us half the number that multiplies by 6 together with the same number that multiplies by 6. For example, if I want to multiply 6 x 2 (even number) the result will be 1 which is half of 2 together with 2, that is, the result will be 12. If I want to multiply 6 x 4 the result will be 24 (the two that is half that 4 and the same 4). What is simple?
Once you have learned it, it is very important to also practice it disorderly. For this, I have prepared you some
printable exercises with which you can practice the 6 table and correct your mistakes yourself. If you have any doubts or questions about this table, send it to me through the space dedicated to this on the web.
