What are the divisibility criteria
Welcome to UnProfesor, in today's video we will explain what are the divisibility criteria.
Depending on the number we have, the divisibility criterion will change.
2: A number is divisible by 2 if it ends in an even number or 0 (2,4,6,8,0 ...)
3: A number is divisible by 3 if the sum of their numbers is multiple of 3 (282: 2 + 8 + 2 = 12 so it is multiple of 3)
4: A number is divisible by 4 if its last 2 digits are 0 or multiples of 4 (424, 400 ...)
5: A number is divisible by 5 if it ends in 5 or 0 (40, 35, 15 ...)
6: A number is divisible by 6 if it is divisible by 2 and by 3
7: A number is divisible by 7 if the subtraction between the number without the units digit, and twice the unit digit is 0 or a multiple of 7.
8: A number is divisible by 8 if its last 3 digits are 0 or a multiple of 4.
9: A number is divisible by 9 if the sum of its digits is multiple of 9.
10: A number is divisible by 10 if it ends in 0
