The Last of Us: synopse, cast and characters of the series
to series The Last of Us, available on HBO Max, is an adaptation of a PlayStation 3 (PS3) video game of the same name, released in 2013.
Directed by Israeli-American Neil Druckmann, the production was quite successful in its first season, starting in January 2023. The long-awaited second season is scheduled for 2025 and there are many news.
Synopse
The narrative takes place in a dystopian future where human beings are nearly extinct due to a viral pandemic. People who come into contact with the terrifying virus become cannibals and become doença with just one bite.
The Chilean actor Pedro Pascal is the main character, who receives the mission to escort young Ellie to join a paramilitary group that rebels against the orders of the government. During the treatment, they perceive that she is able to stop the virus due to her immunity from it.

About the second season
The second season has been confirmed for HBO Max and will probably be available sometime in 2025.
As the production is based on the game of videogame, logically following two events, the new season will be scheduled in vingança. The plot must show the journey of Joel and Ellie after five years, the last two events that closed the first season.
