  • Rebellion: romantics act like rebels, people who rebel against a world that they do not understand and that does not take them into account. They are people who are very emotional and visceral, so they consider that they have no place in a materialistic and cold world.
  • Love: love becomes one of the most important themes among romantic writers. But love seen from all levels, both positive love, love evil, loss, desolation... Pessimism is the most common tone among romantics
  • Fantasy exaltation: imagination and fantasy reposition themselves in romantic writing. The influence of realism and materialism is left behind to enter the paths of the mind and the labyrinth of human emotions
