Characteristics of adjectival subordinate clauses
Welcome to a teacher, in today's video we are going to start en bloc subordinate adjectival clauses.
Subordinate adjectival clauses They are those compound sentences, that is, they have more than one verb, they depend on a main sentence, and they will behave exactly like an adjective in a simple sentence. That is, they are going to express a characteristic regarding a name that we will find within the main sentence and that we will call antecedent.
These sentences are also called relative because they will be introduced by a few links that are relative, because they refer to this antecedent, and may be pronouns of adverbs.
These adjectival subordinate clauses will almost always function as cname supplement. And on some very specific occasion they will be attribute.
