Subordinate adverbial clauses and infinitive adjectives
Welcome to UnProfesor, in today's video we are going to continue talking about the infinitive sentences, or the subordinates of the infinitive, and we will see how this word, the infinitive, is capable of creating not only substantive subordinate clauses, but also adjectives and adverbial clauses.
In addition, this video will be a bit of an introduction to see the adverbial subordinates and adjectives and tricks to identify them.
Let's start talking for the adverbial subordinate clauses: these are always going to be introduced by preposition plus the subordinate infinitive clause. They will be characterized because they will tell us about the circumstances in which the action expressed by the verb takes place.
We can also find the subordinate adjective sentences of the infinitive. These will be introduced as any subordinate clause of relative or adjective, using relative pronouns or adverbs. And then we will find the subordinate infinitive clause.
