About a music Wish you were where
Wish you were where is closely linked to musician Syd Barrett, two founders and first guitarist two Pink Floyd. Or composer, for some, chegou to be considered the soul of the band, innovator and responsible for the introduction of psychedelic rock.

Not at the beginning of 1974, the Pink Floyd band met in a studio at King's Cross, in London, to create new material. Released in September 1975, still on the side of the succession of the last album Dark side of the moon, and considered um two melhores rock albums from history, Wish you were here foi o nono da banda Pink Floyd.
An escorted recording company went to Columbia Records, which paid a thousand dollars to renew the contract with a British band.

The album was placed on the market on September 12, 1975, in England, and on September 13, 1975, in the United States. Assim that it started to be sold, it jumped to the first place in succession stops.

Band members Richard Wright and David Gilmour affirm that Wish you were here is your favorite work of the ensemble. The first show of the album was made in Knebworth, not the United Kingdom, in July 1975, before the very same vinyl record was released.
The album was re-released in the United Kingdom and in the United States, in 1976, and in 1980, it was released by a British luxury edition.

About Pink Floyd
Raised in 1965, the English rock band was originally composed by Roger Waters (bassist and vocalist), Nick Mason (drummer), Richard Wright (keyboardist and vocalist) and Syd Barrett (guitarist and vocalist). Syd Barrett needed to be sick for cash and mental health problems. Three years later he joined a group or musician David Gilmore.
The band lasted twenty years and broke up in 1985. Or I meet again in a special presentation I will not see in 2005 in Hyde Park, in London. We had a new reunion in 2011, on Roger Waters' individual tour when David Gilmore and Mason also appeared together.
