This is the best detergent on the market for washing clothes

For this reason, the OCU has carried out a study to determine what is the best detergent we can buy in the supermarket, and it is one of a well-known white label. We explain what it is about!

The best detergent for laundry

As we mentioned, there are many types of detergent on the market. Those that are aimed at colored clothes, those exclusively for white clothes, those that promise maximum softness or those that are special for difficult stains. But the most consumed are those that are usually useful for all types of clothing and give us good results.

The average buyer tends to think that the more recognized and expensive the product brand, the better it will deliver. But studies show that a low-priced, white-label product may be the best on the market. This is the case of the detergents that we can buy in Spanish supermarkets.

The Organization of Consumers and Users has carried out a study with more than 63 types of detergent of different brands, to determine which are more effective and with better quality in relation to their price. According to this analysis, a product from a well-known private label ranks first in terms of quality, performance and price.

The detergent that offers the best result is the one from Mercadona's Bosque Verde. Specifically, the Bosque Verde gel that is used for both white and colored clothing. This is the first in the ranking with 76 points out of 100, being the best valued of all the detergents that we can buy in the supermarket.

Bosque Verde, the best brand on the market

For the OCU, Bosque Verde detergent is the best product for washing clothes, and gives it the category of "master purchase" thanks to its perfect value for money. For only 2.95 euros that the bottle costs, this detergent allows us to carry out about 30 washes, with which each recommended dose would cost about 0.13 euros.

In addition, they were able to verify that it is very efficient with the removal of stains. To confirm this, tests were carried out on more than 20 types of stains at the same temperature and with the recommended dose of more than 63 types of detergent. Mercadona's brand detergent for household products was one of the most effective.

Bosque Verde is the white brand that Mercadona sells for household cleaning products. It is a brand with a wide range of products both for cleaning and caring for clothes, as well as for cleaning and disinfecting kitchens, bathrooms and other household cleaners.

Other items offered are different types of air fresheners, candles for the home, and all kinds of articles dedicated to hygiene, such as kitchen or toilet paper rolls. All of these products promise very good value for money, which they seem to really deliver according to many of the studies done.

The list of the best detergents

As a result of study carried out by the OCU and after analyzing more than 63 types of detergents, only 5 have been classified in a ranking as the best detergents that can be purchased in the market.

If in the first place we have the detergent gel from Mercadona's Bosque Verde brand, in second place it was followed by the detergent in capsule format from Formil, the white brand of the Lidl chain. This detergent costs 3.95, but it is the most effective to achieve good results without losing the whiteness of the fabrics.

This same Lidl white brand also ranks third with its gel-format detergent, which is positioned with 67 points in the ranking. This detergent costs 2.95 euros and is also effective against stain removal.

In fourth place and with 66 points is the Eroski brand, with its liquid detergent exceeding 4.95 euros. Fifth and last place is taken by the only top brand detergent, Ariel Actilift Alpine gel. The latter is the one with the highest price, at 11.90 euros a bottle, but its efficient cleaning makes it one of the best.

Curiously, the first four positions are occupied by private label detergents, confirming that quality is not always expensive. Although this is a fact that should not surprise us. The OCU conducts numerous studies of articles per year that determine that many of the best products are found among the private brands that different supermarkets offer us.
