Balearic Sea.

It is a coastal sea that is part of the Mediterranean Sea, so it could be said that it is more a submarine than a real sea, like the Alboran Sea and the Sardinian Sea. It is located in the eastern part of the Peninsula, between the Balearic archipelago and the Levantine coast.

In it are the Islands belonging to the Balearic Islands (Ibiza, Formentera, Mallorca, Cabrera, Menorca) and the Columbretes Islands, belonging to Castellón.

Alboran Sea.

It is the westernmost part of the Mediterranean Sea. It limits to the north with the coast of the Iberian Peninsula, to the south with the north coast of the African continent and to the west with the Strait of Gibraltar. The Alboran Sea has a length of 350 km and a width of 180 km, and an average depth of 1000 meters, and a maximum depth of more than 2000 meters.
